A Kids’ Day at Carnival

This Monday, our kids didn’t have school in our town, because it was the kids’ day at the carnival. They got to go sausage “fishing”. Actually, the adults are the ones with the fishing pole and the sausage at the end of the rope, and the kids have to try to catch them. It’s funny to watch everyone try to catch those sausages.

Then they got to go to a Kids Only masquerade ball. No adults allowed! They play games, dance and have a costume contest. While we, the parents, sat outside in the beautiful weather sipping on a prosecco (sparkling wine) or having a Macchiato, and chatting away.

What a nice afternoon that was!
